Lot of Two (2) KA-BAR/Union Cut. Co. Hollow Handle Survival Knives: 1.) 4-1/4'' up-swept blade, marked ''KA-BAR/PAT. AUG. 31, 1926/PAT. CAN. 1923'' The reverse is marked ''UNION CUTLERY CO./OLEAN, N.Y.'' 8-1/2'' overall, hollow aluminum handle, removeable threaded aluminum pommel with compass and leather ''KA-BAR'' sheath. 2.) 5-7/8'' clipped point blade, marked ''KA-BAR/REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.'', reverse marked ''UNION CUTLERY CO./OLEAN, N.Y.''; 10'' overall, hollow aluminum handle, removable threaded aluminum pommel with compass and leather sheath. Condition of the 8-1/2'' knife is fine overall with normal signs of age and wear. The 10'' knife is excellent as cleaned. Handles and threaded pommels remain tight. Compass arrows move freely. Sheaths with tight stitching and seams. Est.: $200-$350/lot.
