Lot of Five (5) Antique Foster Bros. Knives and one (1) box: 1.&2.) ''Gold Star'' butcher's knives, 5'' and 10'' long blades, wood handles with brass inlaid stars. 3.) ''Green Line'' skinning knife, 5-3/4'' blade, 10-1/4'' overall length. 4.&5.) ''Forge Toughened'' skinning/butcher's knives, 4-3/4'' & 5'' blades, with ribbed hickory handles. 6.) Green Foster Bros. boning knife box which originally held 6 knives #31E. With Foster Bros. top label, end label, and remnants of the original Foster Bros. sealing tape. Conditions range from very good to fine overall. Knives show varying amounts of age and use, including additional sharpening and some with moderate patination. Box with very light scuffs and scratches and clear labels; corners remain tight. Est.: $250-$350/lot.
