Early 20th Century English Marine Sextant, by Coombes, in mahogany case with all accessories. Gradiant portion marked ''J. Coombes, Optician & Instrument Maker, Devonport''. Condition is fine to near excellent with some paint loss to black portion. All filters and optical lenses are intact. Exterior of case shows just light scuffs and impressions, with one fracture near forward edge of lid that detracts little. Original iron key is present. A very nice nautical decorator.
