John Martz 1920 Commercial Artillery Luger, #775, .45 ACP cal., 8'' barrel, blue finish with straw small parts, border checkered walnut grips, with two custom ''JVM'' marked magazines. Condition is excellent with very light marks in actioning areas. Grips and action are crisp, bore is bright. John V. Martz is a well-known early modifier of Lugers who was active from the late 1960s thru the 1990s. He passed away in 2013. During his heyday, many of Martz's custom Lugers graced the covers of Guns magazine and are noted for their incredibly high quality, fit and finish. Est.: $3,000-$5,000.
