^Lot 713 Mauser byf/Ku Luger

Mauser ''byf/Ku'' Luger, #5889y, 9mm, 4'' barrel, salt blue finish, factory checkered walnut grips, and one ''fxo'' blue-bodied magazine with black plastic base. Pistol features ''Ku'' suffix to left side of upper receiver's serial number, ''41'' dated chamber, ''byf'' to central toggle link, with standard ''Gesichert/Geladan'' safety and extractor markings. Pistol additionally features ''Ku'' test fire proofmarks and ''(stick eagle)/655'' Army acceptance markings. Complete in a 1941 dated black leather holster with nice bright stitching. These pistols are considered somewhat rare with approx. 2700 mfg'd, with this example falling just outside the known serial range. Condition is excellent retaining approx. 96%+ original blue finish. Crisp grips and action, bright bore. Holster is near excellent showing only light scuffs and minor crazing to leather. Est.: $2,500-$3,500. (C&R/PPT) (John Siroonian estate)
