Smith Side-by-Side Shotgun, #47074, 12 ga., 30'' barrel with game rib choked Full/Mod., blue finish with case hardened frame and sideplates, factory checkered high comb walnut stock with rosewood pistol-grip cap, and Pachmayr Whiteline rubber butt pad. Bottom of barrels marked ''Armor Steel''; top of right barrel marked ''L.C. Smith, 12 Ga, Field, Fulton, N.Y., U.S.A.'' Auto safety with extractors. Mfg'd 1949. Condition is fine to near excellent retaining approx. 92% thinning original blue to barrels. Case hardened frame and sideplates show 85% vibrant case colors. Checks show only the lightest flattening; balance of wood with light impressions and minor scratches. Length of pull to end of wood 12-3/8'' to end of pad 13-3/8''. Action is crisp, bores are bright.
