^Lot 493 Lot of 2 Vietnam Era Tru-Bal Knives

Lot of Two (2) Vietnam Era Tru-Bal Model #1 Throwing/Fighting Knives, 9'' blades, one blue and the other bright, 13-1/2'' overall length, black vulcanized fibre handles held in place with steel rivets. Both with the original leather Tru-Bal sheaths. One of the sheaths is dyed red with ''#1'' written on the back. The second sheath is brown and has been decorated on the front side with the words ''5th S.F. '66''. Written on the back side is the name ''Sgt. Bartholomew''. Condition to both is very good overall, the blued knife with approx. 85% thinning blue finish and several small chips to the handle. The second knife appears to have been cleaned with losses to the finish around the edges. The sheaths with vivid colors, tight stitching and seams. Est.: $250-$400/lot.
