Scarce Early U.S. marked Ruger MK I (T7678) Semi-Automatic Target Pistol, #77367, .22 LR cal., 6-7/8'' medium-weight barrel, blue finish, thumbrest walnut checkered stock, with micro-adjustable rear sight and Patridge style front sight, and two (2) correct early mags. ''U.S.'' neatly marked above chamber area. Mfg'd approx. 1955, being in the first shipment of 4000 to the U.S. Army Ordnance Dept. within the accepted serial number range of 75,800 to 79,999. Condition is excellent retaining approx. 97% blue with light thinning at muzzle and high edges, and light general overall micro-scratching with some thinning to front strap.
