Rare 1940 Dated Krieghoff Luger, #10260, 9mm, 4'' barrel, salt blue finish with straw small parts, factory molded brown checkered plastic grips with smooth border, and two matching numbered blue-bodied extruded magazines with pinned aluminum bases. Chamber dated 1940, standard Krieghoff anchor to central toggle, ''Gesichert/Geladen'' marked thumb safety and extractor, with full complement of Luftwaffe component and inspection markings. In 1940 dated brown leather holster. Considered rare with only 1100 mfg'd. Condition is excellent retaining approx. 98% original lightly toning blue. Grips and action are crisp, bore is bright.
