^Lot 60 Colt 1st Gen. Single Action Army Revolver

Colt 1st Generation Single Action Army Revolver, #253970, .45 Colt cal., 4-3/4'' barrel, blue and case hardened finish, factory checkered hard rubber grips. Mfg'd 1902. Condition is excellent with factory replaced cylinder and barrel. Caliber markings are on right side. Backstrap and triggerguard have been nicely refinished, but with previous owner's name ''J. Mann'' stamped to bottom of butt. Case hardened frame appears original and retains approx. 92% vivid original colors. Hammer, trigger and bolt stop screw appear to be later replacements; original case hardened hammer has been replaced with a post-war Colt variant. Grips remain crisp with small losses to left butt edge side border. Action is crisp and tight, bore is excellent. Est.: $1,200-$1,800. (C&R/PPT)
