U.S. Model 1873 Springfield Trapdoor Rifle, #63897, .45-70 cal., 32'' barrel, blue and case hardened finish, ESA cartouched walnut stock with short comb and trapless steel buttplate, and period correct leather sling. Condition is excellent retaining approx. 96% original blue. Stock with light scuffs and pressure dings, and light added varnish near cartouche area. Action is crisp, bore is bright.
