Single Shot Percussion Rifle, by H. Dickinson, .40 cal., 39'' octagonal barrel with large checkered front blade sight and full buckhorn rear sight; lightly adorned tradelock and hammer marked ''H. Dickinson'', simple pierced brass patchbox, birch stock, simple brass sideplate, and pewter forend cap. Condition is good with repairs and fissures to stock, with 1'' loss just forward of triggerguard revealing a portion of the ramrod. Erosion at nipple bolster with replaced nipples. Hammer only stops at half cock. Some added color to barrel. Est.: $500-$750. (Antique)
