Unit marked U.S. Model 1876 Wide Variation Cartridge Belt, by Watervliet Arsenal, with 54 loops for .45-70 Gov't Carbine or rifle cartridges. Back of belt neatly stenciled ''Co 'C', 2nd GA. Inf., 10''. Condition is fine showing darkening to varnish canvas belt body and loops. Bridal leather tongue with just light crazing. Clear markings with final inspection by A.R. Smith.
