2024 Oregon Special Rocky Mountain Goat Tag The state of Oregon is pleased to provide to HSCF the Special Rocky Mountain Goat Auction tag for the 2024 season. This tag will be valid for four (4) months (Aug 1 – November 30, 2024) in any open hunt area with tags as listed in the 2024 Oregon Big Game Regulations. Hunter must complete a mandatory orientation prior to the hunt and must check out through the local ODFW office near where the goat was harvested upon completion of the hunt. Hunting Rocky Mountain goats in Oregon is an extraordinary opportunity with a variety of hunting conditions, high success, and amazing animal quality. Hunt areas range from full hard core backcountry hunting to hunt areas with relatively easy access. In the last five years, 95% of Oregon goat hunters have been successful. The hunt is for two crocodiles (one crocodile per hunter) up to 11 feet (can be upgraded to a larger crocodile.) The hunt will take place on our private concession 2.5 hours north of Johannesburg.
