Safari International Macedonia has donated a Balkan Chamois hunt for one hunter and one observer in the untouched nature of Bosnia. The diverse relief and favorable climate attract various species of animals that have decided to make this area their habitat. Chamois are hunted in Cemernica on the River Ugar Canyon, Kljuc and Kozara. Most of the hunting grounds in Bosnia date back to the 1700s, when the queen of Austro-Hungary, Maria Theresa, ruled over the Hapsburg dominions. Later in the second half of the 20th century, the Yugoslav leader, Jospi Broz Tito, was a frequent hunter on these hunting grounds. The richest population of chamois in Bosnia can be found in Cemernica.
