Brescia 1938 TS Carbine 6.5mm SN: C3280
Bolt-action carbine. Italian military. 75% blued finish. 18" barrel, with fixed sights. Bore appears excellent/bright, but a little dirty. Action is tight. Blued finish on the bolt is mostly faded. Scratches, and finish loss to the metal, and numerous scratches, dings to the wood. Small chip out of the stock at the comb. Serial# matches on the barrel, and stock. Arsenal stamps on the stock, and rack# 59. Has cleaning rod. Green web sling included. 1941 date on barrel. Has three carved notches on the wood, behind the bayonet lug. NRA Condition-Very Good. Modern Firearm.

Turkish military bolt action service rifle chambered in 7.92x57mm Mauser, manufactured circa 1946. Imported by CAI of Georgia, V.T. with import marks on the barrel. Features a blued finish, 29" barrel, dovetailed inverted 'v' front sight, tangent rear sight graduated to 2,000 meters, two barrel bands with bayonet lug on the front band, cleaning rod, smooth trigger, internal 5 round box magazine, straight bolt handle, three position safety on the rear of the bolt, stripper clip guide cuts in the receiver, sling swivels, smooth wood handguard and near full length semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with bolt disassembly disk & smooth metal buttplate. Serial numbers match on the receiver, rear sight base and floorplate. Rifle exhibits little remaining finish with the majority of the metal surfaced in-the-white with a browning patina. Action is smooth, the bore is dark and the wood stocks are good. Condition is near NRA Good. ***C&R Firearm***

Bolt action rifle. Japanese WW2 military. 32" barrel. No blued finish left, turning to brown patina. Scattered pin-prick pitting throughout. Bore is dark/dirty. Action is stiff, needs oiling. Wood stock/handguard has numerous scratches/dings, and a 3 1/2" crack between the tang, and the triggerguard. This is the single-shot trainer version. Never had a chrysanthemun. The three Japanese characters on the chambers should be the name of the school. Serial# matches on the receiver, bolt. NRA condition-Fair/good. Modern firearm.

Features a blued finish, 20.25" barrel marked "02", hooded post front sight, tangent rear sight graduated to 1,000 meters, side-folding spike bayonet, smooth trigger, two barrel bands, 5 round fixed magazine with hinged floorplate, straight bolt handle, smooth wood handguard and straight grip shoulder stock with finger grooved forend, metal buttplate & rubber recoil pad. Serial numbers match on the barrel, receiver, floorplate, buttplate and stock. Rifle retains approximately 90% of it's blued finish showing scatter wear/handling marks and a bright ring around the muzzle. Action is smooth, the bore is dark with what appears to be strong rifling, and the wood stocks are very good. Condition is NRA Very Good. ***C&R Firearm***

Hooded front sight, adjustable rear sights. Chrome bolt. Steel butt plate. Action works well, but is very weak, most likely due to build-up of cosmoline in the bolt. Bolt, and chamber are coated in cosmoline. Serial# matches on the barrel, bolt, stock, and magazine plate. Some scratches to the metal, and some surface rust around the muzzle, Wood is in shape. missing the cleaning rod. Has import mark on the underside of the barrel. Should clean up to excellent. NRA Condition-Very good. Modern Firearm.

Single barrel break-top shotgun. 98% blued barrel, with case-hardened receiver, Wood stock, and forearm. 28" barrel. Bore appears good/bright, but dirty Action is tight, and barrel locks up tight. Some minor wear around the muzzle, and some scratches on the receiver, but overall very good. There is some dried cosmoline when you break it open. Wood is fie shape, with a few very minor scratches. Overall a very nice shotgun that needs a good cleaning. NRA Condition-Very good, plus. Modern Firearm.

Revolver exhibits holster wear and scattered superficial scratches throughout. Action is sound with good lock-up, the bore appears excellent but is dirty, and the rubber grip is fine. Goodwin was a student of the Rhode Island School of Design, the Howard Pyle School, and the Art Students League. His specialty was the outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing. He is also listed among the artists who successfully depicted the ranch life of the cowboy. Persimmon Hill Magazine has reproduced on its cover Goodwin's 1910 When Things Are Quiet, noting that Goodwin's cowboy paintings were influenced by Charles Russell. Goodwin, one of the few New Yorkers Russell liked, visited Russell at the Lazy Kentucky ranch, and at the Bull Head Lodge. During the Depression, Goodwin's saving bank failed, causing serious financial distress. The only important work he had was fun ads and calendar art. His friends felt his worries caused his early death. A few months after his death, Goodwin was rediscovered as an artist. In his estate, however, there were only a few landscapes and the small "comp" sketches prepared for commissions sought, his illustrations having been to order and held by the customers.

A painter of wildlife, historical Colorado scenes as well as impressionist landscapes, he was born in Kit Carson County, Colorado, and raised and educated in his home state. First involved with cartooning in high school in Denver, he pursued this interest via correspondence courses. Haynes attended the University of Denver for a year and then entered the U.S. Army. He returned to art full time (after his tour of duty) by attending the Colorado Institute of Art for four years. He has worked as a commercial artist throughout his life, including in the Graphics Department of the United States Air Force Academy where he worked for 15 years until he retired in 1996.
