#FB-21 Desert Sheep Hunt, Sonora, Mexico
• This is a 1 x 1 hunt for one hunter and one non-hunter, with the proceeds going directly to the Sierra El Álamo – Sonora Wildlife Conservation program. • The hunt is scheduled for 10 days, and for February or March 2019. • The Artees have purchased an area in northwestern Sonora that is a self-contained mountain range. This range has had desert sheep for many years, and the Artees are currently repopulating the area to carrying capacity. • They began transplanting sheep to Sierra El Álamo in early 2017, and an additional transplant was to take place in late 2018/early 2019. The total transplanted for 2017 was projected to be 40 individuals. Within three to five years, additional transplants are planned for at least 200 more desert bighorn sheep. • The Mexican government has issued one tag for the “natural quota” for the 2019 season. • The Artees will be hunting two or three more rams from the transplanted animals for the coming season. These rams will be ear tagged, so there will be no problem in distinguishing the “natural quota” ram for this hunt from any of the transplanted sheep. • Accommodations will be ranch style. • The Artees say that the size ram to be expected is in the mid-160s up to the low 170s. • The hunt will be Navajo Nation-wide.
• These rams are considered to be Nelsoni desert bighorns by GSCO and SCI.

#FB-23 V.I.P. Wounded Veteran Hunt
• Colors of Heroes is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation dedicated to providing
outdoor experiences to veterans and their families.
• Majestic Mountain Outfitters has joined with Colors of Heroes to help
promote the foundation.
• Iowa FNAWS has donated $2000 to go to Colors of Heroes above and
beyond what this item brings at auction.
• This will be two trophy Montana mule deer hunts. The hunts will be
conducted at Majestic Mountain Outfitters’ Montana operation.
• The high bidder and Greg Stube (see below) will hunt mule deer 2 x 1 and will
be sharing the camp and experience together.
• U.S. Army Special Forces Green Beret SFC (Ret.) Gregory Allen Stube:
Stube enlisted in the U.S. Army Infantry in July 1988 and was selected for
the Green Berets in November 1992. He trained as a Special Forces Medical
Sergeant, 18D, and as a career parachutist he earned the qualification of
Jumpmaster and was ultimately awarded the Master Parachutist Badge.
• Stube spent what totals years in hostile fire zones with Special Forces
throughout the 1990s, and while serving in Combat Operations in the Global
War on Terror, he was wounded in Afghanistan during Operation Medusa.
Stube’s A-Team encountered overwhelming numbers of Taliban fighters in
the Battle of Sperwan Ghar, which lasted more than a week.
• Stube’s wounds from a remotely detonated IED and enemy fire seemed fatal,
but instead, he survived to endure months of hospitalization and surgeries.
Huge wounds to his abdomen, hip and pelvis eventually closed, his nearly
severed leg was restored, and extensive full thickness burns were grafted.
• Stube retired from the military after 23 years of service, and has since served
as a TV host, public speaker, consultant, and does charity work for many
government and private organizations. He has also written a book,
Conquer Anything, and will be available to sign copies during the convention.
