Marlin Special ordered 1893 deluxe rifle with extra barrel in
.38-55 and .30-30 calibers, S/N 128650. The first barrel is 26” with half round half octagon with half mag, take down frame, checkered pistol grip stock, Lyman rear and beech front sight, hard rubber Marlin marked butt plate. 95%-98% original blue on the barrel, toning slightly with minor losses and edges (Minor scratches) 0.5 case hardening turning to silver with light rainbow hues visible. The stocks are near fine with most original varnish and minor imperfections. Crisp marking and sharp overall. Fine to excellent bore. The 2nd barrel is also 26” and half mag with matching checkered fore end, beech front sight in .30-30 caliber. The barrel is marked special smokeless steel with 90%-95% thinning and toning original blue 60%-70% thinning blue on the mag tube. 50%-60% silvery case colors on takedown collar. Moore teat fire revolver in .32 caliber remaining in very
good plus condition, S/N 6712. This revolver shows 75%-85% original bright blue on the barrel and 50%-60% thinning blue on the cylinder. Almost all darkened silver on the frame that has turned to blue hues and completely uncleaned. The grips show 70%-80% varnish with wear at the edges. Westley Richards 410GA drop lock shotgun with 26 barrels, auto
ejectors, double triggers in luggage case with trade label in the lid, S/N T9095. Copy of ledger with Westley Richard’s certification included indicating 1936 manufacture, 26” skeet and skeet, and 2 trigger. The gun shows an English quality refurbish to excellent condition with two sets of proofs (The original for 2 ½” and later English proofs for 3 ½”. The stock also of a later period and finely figured walnut with English straight stock, checkered butt, and splinter fore end. The stock measures 14 ½” from front trigger to the butt with no appreciable cast (normal). ¾” drop at the comb. The gun shows fine and tight banknote scroll engraving. The condition is fine to excellent with very little use since return to 97%-98%. The barrels are fine and within proper thickness range with bright bores. The case is very good plus with normal 70 years of use with label fully visible in the lid (possibly later when returned). Current retail 45000 pounds plus with a long wait (Approximately 60-70 thousand U.S. dollars)

musket is in good overall condition with a 32” octagon to round barrel. The barrel and lock have gone to a silver/grey patina with light surface rust noted. The barrel is marked at the breach. The lock is lightly engraved. The smooth wood stock is in good condition with brass hardware, wooden rammer and damage at the tang. The butt stock ends with a smooth, brass butt plate. (Antique). Belgian Browning Sweet 16 Model semi-auto shotgun, 16 gauge, Serial
#X66011. The shotgun is in very good overall condition with a 26” barrel including the polychoke. The barrel retains the majority of its blue finish with a full-length ventilated rib and brass bead front sight. The receiver is lightly engraved and retains nearly all of its blue finish with only minor edge wear noted. The checkered wood stocks are in very good condition with primarily handling marks. The butt stock features a round knob, half pistol grip, plastic butt plate and a 14” LOP to a single gold trigger. The right side of the butt stock has an engraved plate inlay stating, ‘TO THE SKIPPER, WILLIAM E. Belgian made T. Barker S x S hammer shotgun, approximately
8 gauge, Serial #NSNV. The shotgun is in very good overall condition with 36” Damascus heavy barrels with a full-length filed rib and steel bead front sight. The barrels retain the majority of their finish while the receiver has significant old, muted case hardening. The receiver is marked, “T. BARKER” with nothing further and the barrel address has been left blank. The checkered wood stocks are in good condition with mars and scrapes consistent with use and a blank silver escutcheon plate inlaid into the pistol grip. The butt stock ends with a smooth, steel butt plate providing a 14” LOP to the front trigger. The bores are good, the action crisp and the markings are sharp on this massive S x S shotgun. Full Stock Kentucky percussion rifle, approximately .38 caliber. The rifle
is in good overall condition with a 38” octagon barrel and full length stock. The metal has gone to a mottled brown patina with a partial signature on the barrel flats. The front sight is a silver knife blade in a dovetail. The side plate features light engraving and the figure of a horse. The opposite side has an unusual side plate in brass. The highly figured stock shows considerable use with some loss of wood at the muzzle. The butt stock has an elaborate brass patch box with intricate engraving which extends half way up the butt. The stock ends with a smooth brass crescent butt plate. The trigger guard is brass and features double set triggers. (Antique). Est.: $600-$1,200.

capping groove, S/N 209352. The butt is original to the period inscribed in script “George C. Johnstun. Traces of original blue and case hardening within a light brown to gray patina. Good address and patent markings. Faint traces of cylinder scene with some good case colors showing on the hammer and loading lever. All matching visible serial numbers and the loading lever is not numbered which is proper on late 1851’s. The grips are good to very good with some varnish and small losses along with marks on the butt. There are some scratches and dings on the right rear of the trigger guard where the 0.36 caliber marking is mostly visible. Super tight and crisp action. high original condition with desirable 7 ½” barrel, S/N 232223. 90%-95% bright and “Inky” blue finish with minor scratches and slight losses to the cylinder and barrel. The frame shows 70%-80% case colors toning naturally with some good and colorful rainbow hues. The straps show 75% to 0.85 bright original blue. The grips are very good to almost fine and fit impeccably. The front sight is its original full height. The hammer shows 85%-955 vivid colors and the bore is excellent. Only about 3200 Bisleys were made in 0.41 ccaliber and less than 0.03 with 7 ½” Bisley marked 0.41 Colt barrels estimated. Winchester Model 1873 rifle in .44-40 caliber with a 24
octagon barrel, full mag, rifle butt, possibly unique 8 leaf folding rear sights, S/N 192785B. The breech shows a “U” and broad head proof similar to the british. Small bead front sight for use with this rear. Quite different from normal 7 leaf sights found in later range 332000-510000 (See James Gordon’s “73” book page 316). This rifle came out of South Africa in the 1990’s. 40%-60% original blue drifting to patina with some light scratches and normal aging. the breech (Mauser) and dated 1938, S/N 8856. The bolt shows “1” assembly number or special work number and safety shows #3313. The floor plate shows #8259. The barrel matches and the front band is #711. The stock shows “H” and two eagles with “Wa A9” stamped in the wood with remnants of eagle and same “Wa A9” behind the trigger guard. Other number stamps including 8856 on the left side of the receiver and the barrel number. Mounted on quick release mount with see through for iron sights. The scope is marked “Henzolt-Wetzlar” and “Dialitan 4x Nr52068”. Nazi proofs with 3 eagles on the right side of the breech, 1 on action, and 1 on the barrel. Shows import marks. 75%-85% arsenal type old re-blued finish going to patina. The stock is good with dings, mars and scratches. The bore is very good and the scope is clear. 1850 U.S. Officers sword with leather scabbard. The sword is
in good overall condition with a 31” etched blade and an overall length of 37”. The blade is marked with E. Pluribus Unum on one side and U.S. on the other. The blade shows some loss of finish and light surface erosion but does not appear to have been sharpened. The blade is also marked, “IRON PROOF” at the handguard. The handguard is a stylized floral scene in brass with a wire wrapped ray skin grip. The leather scabbard is in good condition with brass mounts and the hangars still intact. Est.: $400-$800.

Stock Heavy Barrel Percussion Plains rifle, approximately .50 caliber.
The rifle is in good overall condition with a 34” heavy octagon barrel with a dovetailed knife blade front and buckhorn rear sights. The barrel has taken on a grey patina with light to moderate surface erosion and numerous mars from carry and use. The lock is likewise a gray patina with light engraving and pinprick pitting. The smooth wood ½ stock is in fair condition showing heavy use with silver hardware. The fore end has several areas of wood loss while the butt has decorative silver inlay of a deer and an ornate patch box. There is an old repair and a significant break at the wrist. is in fair overall condition with a 35” blade and an overall length of 40”. The blade retains the majority of its finish with moderate surface erosion, discoloration and light surface rust at the handguard. It does not appear to have been sharpened. The brass handguard is intact and protects a wire wrapped leather grip, which is badly deteriorated. The brass has taken on a pleasing taffy tone. Belgian Browning A-5 semi-auto shotgun, 12 gauge, Serial #74896. The
shotgun is in very good overall condition with a 29” barrel with a full-length solid filed rib and steel bead front sight. The barrel retains the majority of its blue finish with gold trim at the front ring and is marked made in Belgium. The receiver is Belgian proofed and marked Fabrique Nationale. The smooth wood stocks have been re-finished and are in good condition. There is a 2” lateral crack on the underside of the fore end and the butt stock is undersized at the wrist with the tang and trigger guard somewhat proud as a result. carbine is in fair overall condition with a 30” round barrel. The barrel and receiver have gone to a brown patina with light to moderate surface erosion evident. The receiver is marked, “MERIDEN MANFG. CO.” and “KENTUCKY” on the opposite side. The smooth wood stock has suffered a severe brake at the wrist due to the odd positioning of the magazine tube. Estimated production of the Triplett & Scott number approximately 5000 with 3000 being in the 30” barrel length. Colt Woodsman pre-war .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol early production series,
number 1468 made 1916. This pistol retains approximately 90% to 95% original bright blue and the right side of the slide is period engraved “Phil. B. Bekeart, April 7, 1916, from Col.. C.L.F. Robinson”. Philip B Bekeart was a major dealer located in San Francisco who had close relationship with Colt and he was the inventor of a holster stock accessory used with Colt firearms. Col. C. L. F. Robinson was a president of Colt near this time and several inscribed Colts are known to be presented to and from him. This Woodsman shows a hand machined clip which is engine turned with special hole on reverse side. Also the inside floor of slide and rails have been polished as the same process as the clip. A factory letter is not available at time of cataloging however we feel the inscription is genuine to the period and possibly by Colt for their president who may have given it to a major gun personality who had close dealings with Colt and Smith & Wesson both. The woodsman retains 0.9 to 0.95

1938 commemorated Broadway show Hellzapoppin with this .38 caliber double
action H&R pistol, mounted on display plaque, serial number 66089 was a prop in that play and fired 100,000 shots. The revolver was placed in the Harold’s ClubCollection in Reno, Nevada on July 20, 1952 and a card signed by stars Ole Olson and Chick Johnson is affixed to the plaque with an engraved plaque 1938 Hellzapoppin”. Also by collectors tradition this pistol was used in a Groucho Marx movie ofthe same name. From the Harold’s Club Collection with their inventory tag attached number 723 as sold by Butterfields and Butterfields of San Francisco where it was listed in their catalog of the auction. in good overall condition with a 31 ½” blade and an overall length of 36 ½”. The blade is a grey patina with moderate surface rust over the length. There are Cyrillic characters at the wrist and it appears to have been sharpened during the period of use. The brass hand guard protects a grooved wood handle and also features Cyrillic characters. Winchester Model 1873 lever rifle, .38 WCF, Serial #191534B. The
rifle is in fair overall condition with a 26” octagon barrel. All metal surfaces show a mottled grey patina with light to moderate surface erosion. The action is disassembled and the rifle is non-functioning. The dust cover is intact and the elevator reads, “.38 CAL.” The smooth butt stock is in place but is missing the butt plate and there is no fore arm wood. The consignor has included parts he believes came from this rifle. A little TLC and restoration would go a long way with this Winchester. (Antique). Est.: $300-$600.

Winchester Model 12 pump shotgun, 16 gauge, Serial #1611003. The
shotgun is in very good overall condition with a 28” barrel with a steel bead front sight. The barrel and magazine retain the majority of their blue finish while the receiver has suffered some flaking of the finish along the top of the action. The smooth wood stocks are in good conditions with mars and scrapes from use. The butt stock ends with a Winchester marked plastic butt plate providing a 14” LOP. The bore is good, the action crisp and markings are sharp. (C+R). Est.: $200-$400.

Heavy barrel half stocked plains rifle circa about 140-1850 with
classic American styling. Measures 45 ½” overall with a 31” barrel of .44 caliber rifled with barrel measuring approximately 1” across the center and rounded muzzle for bullet starting. Iron trigger guard and butt plate. Marked “H.L. Siebert, 23 Main st, Cin. O”. (Cincinnati, Ohio) just up the river from Louisville and St. Louis! Gray patina finish with some light pitting and erosion. The hammer spur sheared off and missing. The stock has nice burl with many marks and scratched with a few small losses. Working well. D Guard Sino-Soviet War era sword made from a Japanese
Officer’s sword. The sword is in good overall condition with a 20” blade and overall length of 28”. The blade has some light to moderate surface erosion, staining and light surface rust noted. The blade has been sharpened during the period of use. The guard is brass and the grip is wire wrapped ray skin. There are Mums depicted on both side of the grip. The metal scabbard shows light surface rust and has taken on a grey patina with the hangar in place. Est.: $300-$600.

U.S. Cavalry sword with metal scabbard. The sword is in
fair overall condition with a 35” blade and an overall length of 40”. The blade retains the majority of its finish with some areas of moderate surface rust. There are chips and small mars along the blade but it does not appear to have been sharpened. There is a proof at the handguard with BM and an arrow. The brass handguard is intact and protects a wire wrapped wood handle. The metal scabbard is a dull grey patina with areas of surface rust and retains the two metal hangars. Est.: $200-$400.

S x S percussion shotgun, 12 gauge, Serial #NSNV. The
shotgun is in poor overall condition with 30” Damascus steel barrels. The metal surfaces have gone to a mottled grey patina with moderate surface rust and erosion. The action is marked, “FORD BROS.” on both sides and is missing both hammers. The checkered wood stocks show heavy use with mars and flattening of the checkering.
