After the feathers were outlined on the eagle’s body, it took over 30 hours to carve the veins on the feathers. The 20 primary flight feathers were carved separately, steamed, bent into a curved position, painted and placed on the end of each wing. To date there are only five of these eagles in the country. They range from Nashville, Tennessee to Alaska and from Oklahoma City to Jackson, Wyoming. You can see more realistic wildlife carvings in booth 1034. The puppy is from a prodigious lineage of Jack Russells bred over 40 years for the hunting and tracking of leopard, lion, caracal, jackal and wounded game. Warwick bred these dogs to have a fearless, disciplined attitude with an insatiable drive to trail and spot cats and blood trailing of wounded animals. They have a sweet and loveable demeanor which makes them great as family pets as well as hunting dogs.
