Silent Auction Bow River Float Trip The world renowned Bow River is a fly fishing paradise. A one day float trip has been generously donated by Cameron Merkley (your guide for the day). Details Your guide will meet you at Country Pleasures Fly Fishing shop, or somewhere else by prior arrangement. At this time, the guide can pick a selection of flies for your day of fishing. From the shop you will go to the river, your guide will rig up for fishing and launch the drift boat. You will then float a stretch of the beautiful Bow River, receiving guiding and instruction throughout the day. Your guide will provide a shore lunch and beverages and will deliver you back to the shop. Minimum bid $ 500 Guided Trip Rates For those unsuccessful in bidding you can always book with Cameron. Full Day Guided Bow River Float Trip - $550 (CDN) per boat. This includes guided fishing, lunch, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages on the river as well as all fishing equipment at your request. For the Meet and Greet service you will be met in the Arrival Hall after you have cleared immigration and customs. The “Rifle Permit” allows for pre-approval of your firearms ahead of arriving in South Africa, and is recommended for anyone traveling during hunting season. This pre-approval allows for a shorter transfer time to your ongoing flight if needed and provides peace of mind traveling with firearms. This donation is good for either 2017 or 2018. Afton Guest House which has been in business for over 20 years is used by a lot of hunters that are overnighting in Johannesburg before their onward flights the next day.
