tourism opportunities are available for any observers, at an additional

Kentucky Derby Package
Ladies, grab your favorite hat; and men, find a bow tie, because two couples are invited to spend Derby Weekend ~ May 6th to the 8th, 2016 ~ as the guests of Mary Lu and Mason Lampton. As you know, the Kentucky Derby is the greatest horse race in the world. The greatest crop of three-year-old Thoroughbred Horses meet at Churchill Downs to determine who will be the next champion to sire the next generation.
You will stay at the Lampton family farm known as Hardscuffle. Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright's firm, it was the home of the Hardscuffle Steeplechase and the Hardscuffle Fox Hounds, and beautifully set on 1,000 acres on the banks of the Ohio River.
Arrive by noon on Friday the 6th in order to watch the Kentucky Oaks at Churchill Downs. Here you will get your bearings on reading the Racing Form, wagering with abandon, and tasting your first Mint Julip. That evening you will dine and then retreat to Hardscuffle for needed rest.
Saturday morning the 7th, you will head back to Churchill Downs to watch the day's racing card. The Derby will be later in the afternoon, always preceded by Stephen Fosters' "My Old Kentucky Home". This brings a tear to the eye even if you are not a Kentuckian. The mad charge of fabulous horses follows the Ballad with the award of a Cape of Roses to the Victor. The winning horse's value will have increased many fold.
After the races, retire for a sumptuous meal and rest at Hardscuffle. Sunday is a day to return to the expected and away from the stars. A sweet fatigue is always a last dram of the Derby elixir to savor as you reminisce over the dramatic day of racing.

FREE RANGE Plains Game Safari
This donation from Crusader Safaris in South Africa is a 10-day hunt for one hunter and one observer. It includes the trophy fees for nyala, bushbuck, Cape kudu, common reedbuck, mountain reedbuck, and vaal rhebuck.
The winners will fly into Durban and out of Port Elizabeth during the 2016 season (March-October). Additional hunters are welcome at the rate of $400/day, and observers at $185/day. Crusader Safaris is the only outfitter offering free-range plains game safaris in South Africa. All species are hunted in their indigenous environments out of authentic hunting camps in large, unfenced conservancies.
Hunt out of the tented camp in the Umkomaas Valley conservancy for Nyala, Bushbuck, and Common Reedbuck. This 150,000-acre thickly-wooded area is known for exceptional trophy quality and great free-range spiral-horned antelope all in the same area. Then move south to the 400,000-acre Baviaansriver conservancy where you will hunt Cape Kudu, Mountain Reedbuck, and Vaal Rhebuck. SAAM Precision or Safari Course with Craig & Donna Boddington
Two students and two observers will go through the 5-night, 4-day SAAM Precision or Safari Course with Craig and Donna Boddington also attending as your hosts, where the instructors help you improve your shooting/hunting skills with your own equipment, being better prepared for that hunt of a lifetime. Most importantly, you will fully understand your shooting limitations and that makes you a great hunter! You will be shooting 260-280 rounds, so it is suggested you bring two rifles. You will learn the effects of the environment on your ballistics and how to compensate on the real world ranges throughout the rugged FTW Ranch. You will spend a great deal of time in many challenging shooting scenarios and positions and learn how to use your own gear and surroundings to make great longer-range shots. In the Safari course you will also learn how to be ready for Dangerous Game on the dangerous game ranges. This is perfect for medium- and big-bore calibers!
Included in this donation are: two students, two observers, and the Boddingtons for five nights and four days of first-class meals and lodging; SAAM instruction; beverages and refreshments; custom-built range cards for your rifle/bullet combo; rifle cleaning supplies, hearing protection, shoulder pads and other nice gear, which are yours to keep. Please bring your favorite hunting backpack. Arrive Friday afternoon, depart Wednesday morning.
