Rick Taylor Bronze – “Heading for Radium”
Rick Taylor Bronze – “Heading for Radium” Dale and Donna Gaugler have donated a Rick Taylor bronze entitled “Heading for Radium”. This piece is a replica of the life size bronze sculpture placed in the town square of Radium Hot Springs, British Columbia. The theme of the town is “Bighorn in our Backyard” as wild bighorn sheep winter all around the valley bottom including their backyards. This bronze is number #100 of 100 produced and Dale Gaugler’s name is included on the plaque on the life size monument. The monument’s purpose was to raise awareness about the presence of these animals and the challenges presented to them as they live in such close proximity with people. This cast bronze original monument now greets visitors to the tourist center in the heart of town and with interpretive plaques it outlines the life of the Rocky Mountain Bighorn sheep and recognizes the sponsors who funded this project. David Jackson Original Oil – “Hilltop Grizzly”
David Jackson Original Oil – “Hilltop Grizzly” A native of Ogden, Utah, David’s interest in art began at an early age and he has been working as a professional artist for over forty years. David is well known for his accurate depictions of wildlife and western landscapes. This piece numbered 7/2015 and titled “Hilltop Grizzly” depicts a haggard looking grizzly that one may think has recently emerged from his long winters nap. He is standing over a full curl set of horns, leaving us to wonder if he had come across this Ram that perished during a long winter or did the grizzly in fact take his live to assure he could live to see another season. This is truly a beautiful piece that anyone would be proud to display and come to your own conclusion of the story behind the “Hilltop Grizzly”. Mid-Asian Ibex Hunt
Mid-Asian Ibex Hunt Travel to Kyrgyzstan with Asian Mountain Outfitters. This hunt is conducted on horseback/foot in high elevations. Hunting is different than North America and hunters need to be prepared for cultural/language differences, long range and sometimes quick shooting (proficient at 500+ yards). The climates are similar to the high & dry areas of CO, NM and NV. Hunters have the option of shooting a second Ibex ($5,000) or a Roe Buck (4,500) both of which would be on trophy fee. This Ibex hunt can be upgraded to include Marco Polo for $23,000 as the price for both animals is $31,500 USD. This Ibex hunt includes 6-8 hunting days and it requires a hunter to be relatively fit and experienced in mountain hunting. Typical Ibex size ranges from 38 - 47”. An average Ibex is about 42/43”. Ibex under 38” and over 48” are rare. If a hunter prefers to do a non-horseback hunt (using pack donkeys and foot/jeep hunting), this hunt can be switched to Tajikistan, with our partners there. The most common Ibex hunt dates are September and October, but the season runs from August 15th thru February 28th, with no hunting between Dec.1st - Jan. 10th. Serious bidders are welcome to discuss this hunt opportunity directly, before bidding. The hunt is to be taken during the 2016/2017 season, but arrangements can be made to postpone hunt until 2017/2018 (if Gov’t fees increase, hunters will pay this increase). The hunter is responsible for the flight to and from Bishkek via Turkish Air/Istanbul, meals and lodging while in Bishkek (usually 2 nights), extra baggage fees for taking home skin/skull or shipping of trophies home and staff tips (clients will be provided with Tip suggestions). The license and trophy fee for one Ibex are included and there are no hidden costs. A non-hunting companion is welcome for $2,500. If hunt space is available for an additional hunter, on the same hunt date, price is $8,500. Asian Mountain Outfitters works with many different outfitting partners, in many different locations, whom provide local guides, assistants, cooks, vehicles, horses, camps, food, and lodging. The best local guides typically do not speak English though and it is expensive and difficult (because hunts are often in Sept and Oct) to get a Western/English speaking guide to accompany the clients, so hunters need to be able to assist in trophy judging & overseeing skin/cap prep too. The Ibex are plentiful in most areas and do not require a U.S. Cities Import Permit, unlike Marco Polo sheep. Bryan will do his best to educate and prepare a hunter, before the trip. Make sure to check out Asian Mountain Outfitters website, Kyrgyzstan Marco Polo and Ibex Hunting for more info. Donated by: Bryan Martin, Asian Mountain Outfitters 105-1361 McGill Rd. Wyoming Governor’s Shiras Moose Permit
Wyoming Governor’s Shiras Moose Permit Wyoming Governor Matt Mead, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, and the North American Moose Foundation (via the Wyoming Governor's Big Game License Coalition) are pleased to provide the Eastern Chapter of the Wild Sheep Foundation with a 2016 Shiras Moose License for auction. The 2016 Wyoming Governor's Moose License is only valid in open hunt areas with more than 10 Type 1 any- or antlered- moose licenses issued. For 2015 this license was valid in 11 hunt areas: 5, 10, 20, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 38/41. These hunt areas account for over 70% of Wyoming's annual Shiras Moose harvest. The number of licenses issued per hunt area MAY change from year to year. Seasons and license numbers for Fall 2016 will be finalized in April 2016. Successful purchaser may hunt any open hunt area that qualifies in accordance with the above. The purchaser does not have to pick a specific hunt area and may hunt different hunt areas. The five-year waiting period between moose licenses does not affect the ability to purchase a Governor's moose license, and purchasing this license is independent of applying for a moose license through the draw system. The license fee ($117 for Resident, $1,416 for Non-Resident) is waived. Preference points are not affected by purchase of a Wyoming Governor's Moose License. 90% of the auction proceeds provide funding for Wyoming moose projects via the Wyoming Governor's Big Game License Coalition. Kyrgyzstan Marco Polo Hunt
Kyrgyzstan Marco Polo Hunt
Asian Mountain Outfitters offers a unique and adventurous mountain hunting experience in Kyrgyzstan, for one of the most incredible mountain sheep in the world, the majestic Marco Polo. This is actually the Hume Argali, a subspecies of the Marco Polo sheep. The hunt date will be Oct. or Nov. 2016 or January 2017; it is approximately an 8-9 day trip, plus travel. This hunt is conducted on horseback/foot in high elevations (10,000-13,000’). This is not a North American Hunt and hunters need to be prepared for cultural/language differences, long range and sometimes quick shooting (proficient at 500+ yards). The climates are similar to the high & dry areas of CO, NM and NV. All Kyrgyzstan hunting licenses and fees are included; however camp staff tips are additional. The winning bidder will have their name submitted to the USFWS, so that they will get USFWS CITES import permits. The U.S. CITES application with USFWS opens May 1st of each year and costs $100.00. Most of the hunting areas have a heated house or cabin and if spiking out, the hunter will use backpack style tents. A non-hunting companion is welcome for $2,500. If hunt space is available for an additional hunter, on the same hunt date, price is $26,500 for one Marco Polo. A Mid-Asian Ibex can be added to this hunt for an additional $5,000.00. Typical sizes for Marco Polo Rams are 44”-52” and Ibex range average 37”-45”. Generally the hunters will take the trophy(s) home as checked luggage, but a few of our hunters decide to have them shipped DHL, Fed Ex or Turkish Air Freight and cleared, using a Wildlife broker. The hunt is to be taken during the 2016/2017 season, but arrangements can be made to postpone hunt until 2017/2018 (if Govt. fees increase, hunters pay this increase). The hunter is responsible for the flight to and from Bishkek via Turkish Air/Istanbul, meals and lodging while in Bishkek (usually 2 nights), extra baggage fees for taking home skin/skull or shipping of trophies home and staff tips (clients will be provided with Tip suggestions. Our managers/partners will meet clients at airport and assist in all aspects of the hunts. The best local guides typically do not speak English, but are skilled hunters and horsemen. If it is your first trip to Central Asia, we can arrange a Western/English speaking guide to accompany you (price is $5,000 USD plus all their travel and trip expenses). Hunters who elect to hunt with just the local guides need to be able to assist in trophy judging & oversee the skin preparations. Make sure to check out Asian Mountain Outfitters website, Kyrgyzstan Marco Polo and Ibex Hunting for more info.

He started guiding over 20 years ago in Sonora and works approximately 300 days a year in the field. Included in the donation is transportation to and from the hunting area upon arrival in Hermosillo, Mexico. Accommodations, meals and drinks, hunting license and gun permits are included. Additional hunters are welcome at a cost of $50,000.00 and Non-hunters at $200.00 per day. Not included is hotel cost in Hermosillo before and after the hunt, if needed.
