This is an incredible collector’s piece. The Browning X-Bolt Stainless Stalker Carbon Fiber is chambered in a .300 WSM. It’s beautifully engraved with a deep mark etch by Baron Engraving. This firearm was a prized item in the collection of Kenyon Greene, a RMEF member and supporter since 1988. According to “The History of Remington Firearms” by Roy M. Marcot, the 1879 RemingtonHepburn rifle was produced 1880-1904 with more than 10,000 rifles produced. This fantastic antique (year produced unknown) has a serial number of 9110. The caliber of the firearm has been measured at 45-70. The rifle has an octagon barrel and Hepburn’s breechloading system that featured a dropping breechlock activated by a lever on the right side of the frame. This bronze is a 1/6 size reproduction of the 9x10 elk taken in the Arizona San Carlos Indian Reservation in 1997. At that time it was the largest typical elk rack taken.
