Swarovski EL Range 10x42 Laser Rangefinder Binocular
Generously donated by EUROOPTIC: EuroOptic's new Swarovski EL Range Laser Rangefinder binoculars are built on the same "platform" as the first generation Swarovski EL binocular. They do not have HD glass or field flattening lenses like the Swarovski EL Swarovision. Keep in mind that the main purpose of HD glass is to reduce color fringing and, even though these do not have HD glass, they perform as well as the premium laser rangefinder binoculars with HD glass made by other manufacturers. Instantaneous angle compensated readout to the target is a desirable feature not currently available in all premium laser rangefinder binoculars. This alone may cause many hunters and shooters to trade in what they are currently using. Add to that a beam divergance of 1.5 x 0.5 MRAD, the smallest availabe in the commercial rangefinder market. ThermoSight R-Series Thermal Riflescope
Generously donated by FLIR: Infrared leader FLIR® is pleased to present the ThermoSight R-Series thermal riflescope, FLIR's first thermal riflescope for non-game hunting. The R-Series uses thermal imagery to capture the body heat of predators and varmints in zero light, improving hunters' odds for success. The specific model to be auctioned is the RS64, 1.1-9X scope, which features a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, a 35mm lens and 8X digital zoom. The RS64 includes automatic image optimization and advanced shock reduction system that is qualified for an MSR semi-automatic platform, up to .308 cal. The RS64 R-Series provides three inches of eye relief and has multiple reticle options, with a repeatable and dependable zero. Select between a number of video palettes, including FLIR's exclusive "InstAlert," which uses red colorization to display only the hottest areas on screen. The R-Series quickly attaches to any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail with the included quick release mount and provides video out so you can capture all the action on your recording device. Because of ITAR controls, the ThermoSight® R-Series is only available for ownership by US citizens. Dallas Safari Club thanks FLIR Systems, Inc. for this 100% donation.
