Cabela's T.A.G.S.
Cabela’s T.A.G.S.his donation covers 70% off on the Cabela’s T.A.G.S. service fees for as many state/species as the lucky bidder wishes to apply for. The typical Cabela’s TAGS fee runs approximately $75 per permit. This donation comes from the Cabela’s T.A.G.S. program and is for permit application service for 3 years (2015, 2016, 2017). One of the great benefits of the T.A.G.S. program is that they float any related tag fees for their clients. If you apply for sheep in the western states, the tag fees can really add up – let Cabela’s TAGS float this for you! The only additional costs to the purchaser is if the state requires the applicant to purchase a hunting license as a pre-requisite to applying and any state application fee. The donation also includes expert advice on all the western states as well as specific specie and unit information. The value of this donation is really up to the purchaser and is dependent on how many tags he/she would like to apply for! Alaskan Black Bear Hunt
Alaskan Black Bear Hunt This donation is for a 5-day black bear hunt over bait in the Eastern Interior of Alaska near Tok for one person. You will be hunting over established bait stations. This area has color phase black bears which are 40-50% of the bears, ranging from chocolate to cinnamon to straw colored. We live in close proximity to the bait stations. In Spring 2014, we photographed from 7 different bait stations close to 40 different bears of which 16 or more were grizzlies. We will have over a dozen bait stations the spring 2015 season. We knew we had a lot of bears in our area, but we were amazed at just how many. Overnight conditions will be at our lodge/home. This is a fully guided hunt from two-man tree stands. We will check baits then return back to the lodge/home quarters. Not included in this donation, but the following can be added to your hunt. First, you can shoot a second black bear for an additional $1200 plus the black bear tag fee. Second, if interested in shooting a grizzly, you must plan for a 7-day hunt at an additional cost of $1200, plus the trophy fee for a grizzly bear which is an additional $6,500 plus the grizzly tag fee. Mid-Asian Ibex Hunt
Mid-Asian Ibex Hunt Travel to Kyrgyzstan with Asian Mountain Outfitters. This hunt is conducted on horseback or on foot in high elevations. The outfitter describes the hunt as comparably to a British Columbia Mountain Goat hunt. This is typically a very difficult hunt and the hunters need to be experienced in mountain hunting and with long range shooting. Hunters have the option of shooting a second Ibex ($5,000) or a Roe Buck (4,500) both of which would be on trophy fee or this Ibex hunt can be upgraded to include Marco Polo for $26,000. This Ibex hunt includes 6-8 hunting days plus flights and travel and it requires a hunter to be fit; hunter will ride horses extensively in mountain conditions. Typical Ibex trophy sizes on this hunt range from 40 -50”. We have several areas we hunt ibex, depending on the time of year and the hunters ability. The most common hunt dates are September and October, but the season runs from August 15th thru February 28th, with no hunting between Dec.1st - Jan. 10th. Serious bidders should call or stop by Bryan’s Asian Mountain Outfitters booth to discuss this hunt opportunity directly with him, before bidding on this hunt. Hunt is to be taken in 2015/2016 season, but arrangements can be made to postpone hunt until 2016/2017 (for an extra cost and with approval from Asian Mountain Outfitters). The hunter is responsible for the flight to and from Bishkek and lodging while in Bishkek. The license and trophy fee for one Ibex is included. A non – hunting companion is welcome for $2,500 and, if hunt space is available for an additional hunter, on the same hunt date, for $9,000. Asian Mountain Outfitters has their own equipment (tents, stoves) and their Kyrgyzstan English speaking manager works with many different outfitters, in many different locations, who provide local guides, assistants, cooks, vehicles, horses, camps, food, and lodging. The best local guides typically do not speak English. The Ibex are plentiful and do not require a U.S. Cities Permit. Bryan has conducted several seminars at the Convention in the past, about equipment, shooting and what should be expected on such hunts. He has outfitted in Canada since 1999 and in Central Asia since 2002 and has personally been on many successful Marco Polo/Ibex hunts and is very knowledgeable regarding these types of extreme mountain hunts.
