The White Mountain Apache Tribe has again donated an excellent opportunity Chairman's Tag hunt for trophy bull elk. This allows one hunter to hunt the entire months of August, September and October. Choose your guide from a list of very qualified Tribal guides on this 92-day, 1x1 guided, hunter's choice of method of take hunt. Schedule hunt with outfitter for dates August 1-October 31, 2014 only. No alternate year is available. Hotel accommodations are the buyer's responsibility prior to September 10. After September 10, elk camp accommodations are available. Tag is good on all units of Navajo Nation lands (Units 1-16), October 15-December 31, 2014. 90% of proceeds go to the Navajo Nation to support study and management of desert bighorn sheep. A licensed Navajo Nation guide is required and must accompany the hunter any time he/she is on Navajo Nation lands, including during scouting activities prior to the hunt. The Department of Fish and Wildlife is not responsible for arrangements made between a guide and a client, and the quality of guide services provided. Hunter must comply with all tribal regulations, including those concerning use of vehicles while hunting; consult donor for details. Hunter may not be accompanied, except by immediate family members. The Tsholotsho Rural District Council and the outfitter that operates in the Tsholotsho South hunting concession (Lodzi Hunters) have come together and donated one Trophy Elephant bull hunt for the 2014 hunting season only. The proceeds will go to the CAMPFIRE TRUST OF ZIMBABWE - www.campfirezimbabwe.org The hunter should hope to get a bull in the 50 to 55 pounds plus range with the very real chance at something considerably better. Included are accommodations, meals, guide service, trophy fee for elephant and field prep.
