5-day/5-night Ruggs Ranch Ultimate Combo Hunt for four lucky hunters
The Ruggs Ranch Ultimate Combo is our flag ship offering, which is sold out well in advance, but we are holding open two of the best dates for the winning bidder's group in the 2012 season. The dates will be November 1st through the 7th or November 17th through the 24th. The winners will receive a 5 day 5 night trip which will include the best of the bird hunting that Ruggs Ranch has to offer. Not only will you hunt and enjoy our lodge and the excellent accommodations as well as the rich variety of food we offer, but you will experience every aspect of our ranch life, a "real" working cow ranch. The first afternoon you arrive, you'll warm up on our 10 station clays course in the canyon, followed by a star wars shoot out, then commence with the hunting. The next morning out is a trip up to our 8 mile ranch to hunt pheasants over the spaniels. This canyon is loaded with birds and never fails to deliver. We should get enough shooting for one day there, but after lunch we will head down to our Grundage portion of the ranch or over to Rhea Creek to chase more ringnecks. That evening you'll enjoy a fine ranch style dinner and a good nights rest because in the morning after breakfast we're headed to Rock Creek for a horse drawn wagon hunt for wild Quail, Chukar and Hun. By the time we get to camp in the afternoon, and IF you can still shoot we're gonna have a Ruggs Ranch driven shoot. (No matter were you've been in the world, we guarantee you've never seen anything like this before, we will get to see who the true shooters are.) When we have worn you completely out we go into the most perfect camp in the west. It truly is spectacular, and we're gonna BBQ. Our chef will have been preparing for your group all day and you won't go away hungry. The next morning right after chuck, you'll get to saddle up and ride into the western adventure that is the signature of Ruggs Ranch, our wild birds on the plateau hunt or better known as "SHOTGUNS AND CHAPS". This part of the hunt is the memory. The hunting is epic, the scenery is breathtaking and you're riding with your friends, what could be better? When we ride back into camp that afternoon you're gonna want to have a nice glass of wine and relax around the fire and you can bet you will sleep like a log this night. In the morning, after breakfast, we load up in the wagon and head down the canyon for one last chance to get the birds that were missed in the driven shoot as well as the Quail, Chukars and Huns. Friendship. Adventure. Self satisfaction. A necessary escape that will bring you back time and again. Dallas Safari Club thanks Ruggs Ranch for this 100% donation.
