Scott and LeLois are offering a 4-day javalina hunt for 4 hunters, on their beautiful ranch where the desert bighorns were first reintroduced in Texas in the early 1970’s. The high bidders will stay at well-appointed rooms at the Ranch lodge and meals and evening shenanigans are conducted at their cookhouse where you will see a nice collection of pictures of past hunts, and taste some of the best home-cooked meals around. Should the opportunity arise, Scott and LeLois have offered the hunters the ability to harvest an elk as a bonus. Upon its harvest, the hunter would make a donation check payable to Iowa FNAWS at the following rates: $1000/cow, $1500/spike and $4,000/bull. All of these proceeds will be dedicated towards the JM Lutich Ranch’s Wildlife Enhancement and Management program. A GOLD ROSE FOR THE LADIES #2
CONSERVATION STONE SHEEP HUNT
This will be the seventh year in a row Iowa FNAWS will participate in Prophet Muskwa's Ungulate Enhancement Program. The proceeds from this hunt will add very-needed funding to this program, which as we all know is very critical for the future of all big game, and especially the Stone Sheep. Prophet Muskwa’s Ungulate Program is expanding beyond their territory and encompasses many of the other units in northern British Columbia. The results of this program are starting to show benefits via a noticeable increase in game in the area. The Stone Sheep is becoming the most valuable of all of the wild sheep due to their very limited numbers and critical habitat which they survive in. As proof of this, a Stone Sheep hunt just sold at the recent Sheep Show in Reno for $140,000. Iowa FNAWS is very fortunate to develop this relationship with the Olmsteads and Prophet Muskwa. Prophet Muskwa is the premier destination for Stone Sheep, which arguably is the most sought-after of the Grand Slam of rams. The Olmsteads very rarely donate any of their sheep hunts and are booked up every year, however, they have again made this exception for Iowa FNAWS reemphasizing Iowa FNAWS commitment to ungulate enhancement. In addition, the Olmsteads will be donating their guiding, lodging and meals towards this hunt making virtually all of the proceeds available for ungulate enhancement. Since its inception, this partnership has contributed over a half million dollars in ungulate enhancement in northern British Columbia! This incredible one on one hunt is for 10 full days and includes all accommodations, meals and the expertise of very experienced guides and staff. Not included in this hunt is any before/after hunt expenses, air charter arriving and departing from Fort Nelson (estimated at $3,500/person roundtrip), license and government fees (estimated at $1,450 – stone sheep,), 5% GST and gratuities. This hunt can be taken in 2026 or 2027. This is a very rare opportunity to acquire a fantastic hunt. Nathan will be here at our fundraiser to answer any questions. Bid high for a great cause! For more information about Prophet Muskwa, contact the Olmstead’s at (250)-789-9494, Kevin, (559)-974-5409, Nathan (559)-907-5233 or Sean (250)-263-4241, visit their Website: www.prophetmuskwa.com

Typically we hunt out of layout blinds or A-frame style brushed blinds along irrigation turrets or ditches. (“There ain’t much to hide behind in West Texas”) Limits are 3 cranes daily and 5 lesser Canadians per hunter, with that said if you’re a bird hunter you know how migratory birds can be and sandhill cranes are a notoriously difficult bird to decoy. With our experienced crew we will use our knowledge to the best of our ability for you to enjoy the beautiful sight and sound of these cranes as they pile into the region for their migration farther south. We typically finish hunting around 11am each day. This gives you ample time to get back to the hotel, grab lunch in town and take a nap before we join you for dinner and the hunting stories can commence. So, grab your shotgun and join us in and around beautiful Canyon, Texas for a trip to remember! We kindly request no repeat buyers and auctioned trips cannot be combined. WYOMING BIGHORN SHEEP PERMIT
Iowa FNAWS is again pleased to have one of the Wyoming Governor’s bighorn tags. Wyoming governor Mark Gordon, the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission and Dept., the Wyoming Big Game License Coalition, and the Wyoming Wild Sheep Foundation are pleased to provide this 2026 bighorn sheep permit for our auction. The 2026 Wyoming Governor’s Bighorn Sheep License is valid in any open hunt area having more than 10 Type 1 ram licenses issued. The number of licenses issued per hunt area may change from year to year. Seasons and license numbers for fall 2026 will be finalized in April 2026. In 2025, this license would have been valid in six hunt areas: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7. These hunt areas account for approximately 75% of Wyoming’s annual Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep harvest. For further information, please contact Daryl Lutz, Wyoming Game and Fish Department, 307.335.2616, Ryan Amundson, Wyoming Game and Fish Department, 307.331.0787, or Zach McDermott, WY Wild Sheep Foundation 307.752.1212. The successful purchaser may hunt any open hunt area that qualifies in accordance with the above. The purchaser does not have to pick a specific hunt area and may hunt different hunt areas. The five-year waiting period between bighorn sheep licenses does not affect the ability to purchase a Governor’s bighorn sheep license, and purchasing this license is independent of applying for a bighorn sheep license through the draw system. The license fee ($152 for resident, $3,002 for non-resident) is waived. Preference points are not affected by purchase of a WY Governor’s Bighorn Sheep License. 90% of the auction proceeds provide funding for Wyoming bighorn sheep projects via the Wyoming Governor’s Big Game License Coalition. Past successful bidders include Craig Nakamoto (2008), Pat O’Neill (2020), Julie Chapman (2021) and Garrett Uehara (2023). At the recent Wild Sheep Show in Reno, this tag sold for $250,000. TEXAS NELSONI DESERT BIGHORN SHEEP PERMIT
There are only a handful of tags being offered by Texas to hunt a desert bighorn. This is an unbelievable opportunity to obtain a tag and hunt the exact area where the desert bighorns were reintroduced back in to the Texas landscape in 1972, at the JM Lutich Ranch. Notable wild sheep advocate Dr. Red Duke was instrumental in this reintroduction. This ranch was where the first desert sheep permit was granted in 1987 since the reintroduction. This first permit was auctioned off in January, 1987 at the national FNAWS (now known as WSF) convention and was purchased by Doc Thurston for $60,000. LeLois Lutich and Scott Roosevelt has offered this permit to Iowa FNAWS, and 100% of the proceeds of this permit will be utilized towards game management and conservation efforts in the Sierra Diablo Mountains which is a crucial habitat for the desert bighorns. The area is also void of any invasive aoudads and the Lutich Ranch’s game management program has made this a priority. Past notable hunters include Johnny Rodriguez, Ed Yates, Rex Baker, Alexy Kim, as well as many others. Season runs from now until August 31, 2026. In addition to the cost of the permit, there is a $10,000 hunt fee for guiding, lodging and meals, and pickup/drop-off from El Paso airport to the ranch and back. Accommodations include a modern lodge with Starlink capabilities as well as a “cook shack” where you will be served hearty meals and partake in your favorite liquid refreshments. Contact: Scott Roosevelt (915)525-5942 Email: scottyboy79@gmail.com A 5% buyer’s premium will be added to the final bid price of this special permit (unless prohibited by state statute), of which the proceeds will be dedicated to Iowa FNAWS’ various conservation funding. If the winner refuses to pay the required premium, the item will be offered to the next highest bidder for his/her bid price

A GOLD ROSE FOR THE LADIES LAST ONE
DESERT BIGHORN SHEEP SKULL
Desert Bighorn skull retrieved from the JM Lutich Ranch, where Desert Bighorns were reintroduced in to the Sierra Diablo Mountain Range in the early 1070’s. This reintroduction of the Desert Bighorns was spearheaded by the JM Lutich Ranch’s matriarch and LeLois Lutich’s mother, Jewell McAdoo Lutich. If it weren’t for Jewell’s love of the animals, the Sierra Diablos would be void of the Desert Bighorns. A true treasure. Fully donated by Scott Roosevelt and LeLois Lutich.
INAGURAL AOUDAD ROUNDUP
Realizing that there exists a problem with the proliferation of Aoudads in parts of Texas, the Aoudad Roundup could assist in the control of the Aoudad population. This roundup would also put a value of the aoudad ewes for a rancher and benefits could be several fold: assist in the control of the aoudad population and at the same time compensate the rancher thus creating a potential revenue source and the management of aoudads, create a value for the aoudad ewes by promoting the consumption of the meat. Aoudad meat has long been viewed and not table-worthy, however, ewe meat made into burger, chili, sausage, etc., the meat is comparable to other wild game…thus promoting the “Wildlife Harvest Initiative”. Aoudad ewe meat will be served at several meals during the roundup. This inaugural Roundup will consist of 10 hunters each paying an entry fee to participate. THIS AUCTION IS FOR "ONE" SPOT OF THE 10 HUNTERS. A portion of the entry fee would go in to a pot for the largest animal by horn length. Included in the entry fee would be the costs of room, board, guiding and drinks. Approximately a third of the total entry fees will be placed in a pot. Each participant will be allowed to shoot two female aoudads. Score will be kept on the females shot by length of horn. Longest horns wins the pot. To make things interesting, after a hunter shoots his 2 animals, if he wants, he can "better his score " by shooting another female for a added fee of $500, half of which would go in the pot and the other half to the host ranch. Participants would pay the entry fee to Iowa FNAWS (Foundation for North American Wild Sheep), so that it becomes tax-deductible event since we are utilizing the proceeds for wildlife management. The hunter can also shoot a trophy aoudad while hunting, at the ranch's trophy price. In addition to harvesting aoudad ewes, the rancher will allow each participant to take 2 javalinas, as well as allow for thermal night hunting for predators at no extra charge! This initial Aoudad Roundup is scheduled for early Spring 2027 at a ranch in West Texas, near Ft Davis. Contact Craig Nakamoto (402)650-1383, nakamoto01@sbcglobal.net
