Hunts for the Brave - "..But Not Forgotten" Bronze-Clyde "Ross" Morgan
John Leonard (801) 721-7424
rjonleonard@aol.com
Booth # 1210
A soldier of 19 going on 39 returns from a night patrol and fire fight.
His nerves, like his ammunition, are spent. He carries the burden of an extra rifle that belongs to a fallen buddy; a burden that is insignificant compared to the extra baggage of unexpressed feelings that he will most likely carry for life. Feelings that are mirrored in his face and his eyes through what has been termed the "thousand yard stare." He is alone now even though others are near. Emotionally, he will try to stay alone to avoid the searing pain of losing another friend to a cause that is not very well understood. He is alone with his feelings when he returns home - for no one dares to ask questions, lest they be shaken from their own beliefs or forced to take a side in a controversial, no-win war.
He is strong and determined. He did his best, while restrained in his efforts by a confused government, as he waded through the mire. He has quietly gone about his civilian life making contributions to society. He has done his duty at the request of a few, without the support of a majority. He is an American! His painful memories are dimmed by time...but not forgotten. His service to his country has been ignored...but not forgotten. Gone are his fellow veterans who are missing or dead... but not forgotten.

Alberta Minister's Mule Deer Licence 2026

Famous as one of North America's premier mule deer hunting destinations, Alberta, Canada produces some of the continent's greatest record potential, year after year.
From the farmland of northern Alberta to the open grassland and coulee habitat of the south, to the foothills of the Rockies, Alberta's outfitters consistently put record book quality deer in front of their hunters. Our province has put 8 typical mule deer in the book that exceed 200 inches, and we have long held the record for non-typical mule deer: a 355 2/8-inch whose score will likely never be topped. Alberta presents the most diverse mule deer hunting experience available anywhere. Hunters can enjoy truck-based hunting, covering lots of ground and locating deer feeding and bedding in cultivated fields before executing a short stalk, or you can travel on horseback, or hike, and glass our thousands of acres of highly productive deer habitat in the foothills or coulees. There is no doubt, Alberta already presents diverse and rewarding world-class mule deer hunting opportunities for hunters of all kinds, and this Alberta Minister's Special License (MSL) sweetens the deal even further, allowing the buyer an unprecedented opportunity to hunt at the best possible times, and giving them the incredible once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hunt with their weapon of choice starting on August 25 of a given year, in any Wildlife Management Unit (WMU) where a mule deer season exists, for a full 365 days. Your dream Alberta hunt is just around the corner with this Alberta Minister's Special License for mule deer.
LICENCE CONDITIONS
The holder of this Antlered Mule Deer Minister's Special License (MSL) is authorized to hunt one antlered mule deer, in accordance with all provisions of the Wildlife Act and Wildlife Regulation unless exempted in the conditions below. This special license is valid from August 25, 2026, to August 24, 2027, in any Wildlife Management Unit (WMU) where a mule deer hunting season is identified in the current Alberta Guide to Hunting Regulations.
This license may be held by hunters of any residency status, however, a license holder who is not an Alberta resident must enter into a contract with the holder of a valid Outfitter Permit and be accompanied by a designated guide in accordance with the Wildlife Regulation.
This license does not authorize hunting in any location where hunting is prohibited as outlined in the Wildlife Regulation and the current Alberta Guide to Hunting Regulations.
This license does not authorize hunting in any location where hunting is prohibited as outlined in the Wildlife Regulation and the current Alberta Guide to Hunting Regulations.
This license does not authorize hunting on Sunday in WMUs where the Sunday hunting of big game is prohibited.
While hunting under the authority of this license the hunter may use any legal weapon as defined in the Wildlife Regulation. A crossbow license or bow hunting permit must be obtained by the MSL license holder should they choose to hunt with these weapons. Please note that the use of rifles during archery seasons should be undertaken with extreme caution and consideration as archery hunters may be using decoys to hunt several big game species. Please be considerate of other hunters to avoid conflicts and ensure safe hunting for all.
A hunter is required to hold a Wildlife Certificate before hunting and, when hunting with a bow must, hold a bow hunting permit. This approval does not exempt the MSL holder from the need to follow weapons use restrictions governed by other applicable legislation and regulations, including municipal bylaws.
This license opportunity may not be designated to a hunter or license holder via fee or remuneration (may not be sold or exchanged for value). Note: 10% will be deducted from the final bid price of this special license, which will be dedicated to the Western Hunting and Conservation Expo. If the winner of this item refuses to pay the premiums required, the license shall be offered to the next highest bidder for the last price they bid.

CALIFORNIA 2019 WINE MAGNUM TRIO AND 6-PERSON TOUR AND TASTING

Contact: Kenn Loch (281)-728-9757 kenn7web@yahoo.com
The winner of this lot will experience an exclusive tour of the historic Morlet Family Winery in St. Helena, California (up to 6-people), where you will enjoy a private tasting of wines from the Morlet Family Vineyards portfolio.
You will also receive a three-magnum 2019 horizontal from the heart. Aged exclusively in French oak barrels from selected artisan coopers, the wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered. An unwavering commitment to quality leads to small yields, attentive sorting, and the highest standard when blending. Thus, a very limited amount of each wine is ever produced.
·Morlet Family Vineyards 2019 "Coup de Coeur" Chardonnay Sonoma Coast (1.5 liter) 100 points. "A magical Sonoma Coast release that tops out my scale. It hits the palate with full-bodied richness, a pure, layered, incredible texture, integrated acidity, and one heck of a long finish. It has this brilliant minerality, a weightless mouthfeel, and does everything right." - Jeb Dunnuck, Dec. 2021
·Morlet Family Vineyards 2019 "Joli Coeur" Pinot Noir Fort Ross-Seaview (1.5 liter) 98 points. "The full-bodied palate is densely laden with black fruit and cherry preserves layers, framed by ripe, rounded tannins and tons of freshness, finishing long and minerally." - Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, The Wine Independent, Aug. 2022
·Morlet Family Vineyards 2019 "Coeur de Vall" Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville, Napa Valley (1.5 liter) 98 points. "Gloriously indulgent and screaming Napa, but there's something French about this too. Great density and very fine-grained silky tannins give this a structured, architectural almost sculptural form. Spectacular, very elegant and refined." - Colin Hay, The Drinks Business, Aug. 2022
Winery tour and tasting to be scheduled per a mutually agreeable time before December 23, 2027. The three-magnum 2019 horizontal to be shipped to winning bidder.

Whether you're looking to complete your Sheep Grand Slam or harvest a truly exceptional desert bighorn ram, this Tiburón Island hunt represents one of the finest desert sheep opportunities available anywhere in the world.
This exclusive hunt takes place on Tiburón Island, a 300,000-acre private island in the Sea of Cortez, widely regarded as one of the premier desert bighorn sheep habitats in North America. Rams typically range from 160†to 185â€+, with a strong focus on older-age, mature rams. To date, our fair-chase success rate on harvested rams is 100%.
This hunt is designed to be effective, ethical, and adaptable to the hunter. Our guiding team consists of experienced long-range shooting experts, equipped with the necessary rifles, optics, spotting systems, and support equipment to maximize success in this rugged desert environment. Hunters who may not be in peak sheep shape can still expect an outstanding experience and a realistic opportunity at a world-class ram through thoughtful planning and expert execution.
At the same time, hunters seeking the physical challenge of a true mountain hunt will find exactly what they're looking for.
