DO NOT BID ON THIS LOT Iowa FNAWS Terms and Conditions 2025: IOWA FNAWS – Auction Program Rules & Regulations IOWA FNAWS is a Section 501(c)(3), non-profit membership organization. Our members are conservationists who hunt. Our mission is conservation of wildlife, education of the public, and advocacy for hunting and hunter's rights. IOWA FNAWS appreciates the support of its donors and members in helping to further its programs and goals. Auction revenue funds a great portion of IOWA FNAWS's operating budget. The majority of the dollars raised goes to support IOWA FNAWS's conservation and education programs and for protection of the hunter. The term “auction” refers to silent auction, live auction and raffle. Any bid made at an IOWA FNAWS auction, whether in person at a live auction, by phone, online or at a silent auction, constitutes an unconditional offer to buy the item in question at the price bid. Unless a higher and subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding contract of purchase, obligates you to sign the bid ticket or, in the case of a phone or online bid, authorizes the person who took the bid to sign on your behalf AND requires that the bid amount be paid prior to the close of the auction. In the event that the successful bid was made by phone or online, the bid price must be received before the close of the fifth business day after the close of the auction. For any purchase of more than $100,000, upon request, all issued check currently dated will not be deposited until the opening of the sixth business day after the close of the auction. These Auction Program Rules and Regulations apply to auctions and raffles conducted for the benefit of IOWA FNAWS, in all instances where the auction or raffle is conducted for the benefit of IOWA FNAWS. Any exceptions to these Auction Program Rules & Regulations must be reviewed and accepted by Show Management and, if necessary, the IOWA FNAWS Executive Board. Any failure of compliance with the provision above will result in the addition of any costs incurred because of non-compliance, plus the addition of interest at the rate of 1 per month, or portion thereof, that payment is late. Auction items must be paid for by the close of Convention. Payments will be taken at the auction payment table during the Ladies Luncheon, Life Member Breakfast, and all evening auctions. Payments can be made by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. If the winner of an auction refuses to pay the winning bid price plus any premiums required, the item shall be offered to the next highest bidder for the price he/she bid. If the next highest bidder declines the item or if the second highest bidder is unknown, the President shall dispose of the item at his/her discretion. ONLINE BIDDING: All online bidders will be required to pay a 5% buyer’s premium with a $250 cap. You will also be asked to provide the following information: Full Name, Email address, Address, Phone number, Credit card number, which an AVS is completed (Address Verification System) All purchases over the amount of $10,000 will require a call back from WSF Auction Team for verification. AUCTION BIDDING PROCEDURES AND CONDITIONS OF SALE 1. You or your representative (designated individual must have written, notarized authorization by you stating maximum bidding price for each of the items of interest) must be registered and present during the auction to be eligible to bid. A person who bids on behalf of another person or group will be ultimately held responsible for payment in its entirety. A person registered and bidding through the official IOWA FNAWS online auction site will be considered to be registered and present for the auction. 2. All items auctioned are sold “as is.” IOWA FNAWS assumes no responsibility for the validity of the descriptions, authenticity, or condition of any item donated for auction. IOWA FNAWS makes no warranty or guarantee, express or implied regarding any property or service sold at auction including, but not limited to, any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability. Values listed are as stated by donors and are not warranted by IOWA FNAWS for tax or any other purpose. 3. All items auctioned (whether goods or services) have been acquired or obtained by IOWA FNAWS from third parties. The purchaser acknowledges that the items have not been inspected by IOWA FNAWS and that the purchaser is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bows, bullets or other weapons, to secure a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. No services auctioned are to or will be performed by IOWA FNAWS. 4. After bidding for an item concludes and the auctioneer designates a winning bidder, the designated winner (buyer) must immediately agree to a Buyer's Agreement. For buyers at the auction location, the buyer must sign the Buyer's Agreement and one copy will be given to the buyer. For online buyers, the buyer must click "I accept" after reading the Buyer's Agreement which, along with payment for the item, constitutes agreement to the Buyer's Agreement. For silent auctions, the Silent Auction Bid Sheet is considered the Buyer's Agreement to purchase the indicated item. All signatures on Buyer's Agreements, Silent Auction Bid Sheets and Silent Auction Sealed Bid Forms, and "I accept" with payment for online purchases, are legal and binding. IOWA FNAWS will not recognize changes, additions or deletions to any auction description agreed to by the buyer and donor unless such changes are noted on the Buyer's Agreement and signed by the buyer and an authorized representative of the donor, or in the case of online buyers, noted in an electronic writing exchanged between the buyer and an authorized representative of the donor. 5. By making a purchase, the purchaser waives any claim for liability against IOWA FNAWS or the donor of any property or service, and neither IOWA FNAWS nor the donor is responsible for any personal injuries or damages to property that may result from the utilization of any property or services sold. If any action or claim is made against IOWA FNAWS by an individual, entity, or state, local, federal, foreign or political body for any matter whatsoever arising from the use of the auctioned items, or any actions or parties conducting business with respect to the auctioned items, the donor and/or purchaser will pay IOWA FNAWS’s attorneys’ fees and costs and will hold IOWA FNAWS harmless from any judgment thereon. 6. If during a live auction, a final bid for an item is erroneously taken from two bidders, the bidding is closed to everyone else except those two bidders. The high bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser; the auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion to determine the successful bidder in any auction. At each live auction, there will be pre-designated bid spotters in the audience, and it is the responsibility of the bidder to direct bids to the nearest spotter. The auctioneers and spotters will make every attempt to acknowledge all desired bids, but IOWA FNAWS is not responsible for any missed bids or bids that fail to be executed. 7. After bidding for an item concludes and the auctioneer designates a winning bidder, the designated winner (buyer) must immediately agree to a Buyer's Agreement. For buyers at the auction location, the buyer must sign the Buyer's Agreement and one copy will be given to the buyer. Checks should be made to IOWA FNAWS and must be drawn on a U.S. bank and in U.S. dollars. Visa, MasterCard, Diner's Card, Discover and American Express are accepted. 9. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. ALL TANGIBLE GOODS PURCHASED AT THE IOWA FNAWS AUCTIONS ARE SUBJECT TO THE CURRENT STATE AND LOCAL SALES TAX RATES. THERE WILL BE NO EXCHANGES OR REFUNDS on items or services. Unless otherwise indicated, all auction items, services and hunts must be used within one year of the date of the purchase at auction. Dates and times for applicable items are to be arranged at the mutual convenience of the donor and winning bidder/purchaser. 10. IT IS THE PURCHASER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTACT THE DONOR REGARDING PURCHASED ITEMS, SERVICES OR HUNTS and to make all arrangements for hunt dates and the application for necessary of paperwork for licenses and permits. IOWA FNAWS is not, and will not act as, a conduit or go-between between the purchaser and donor. After the hunt has been completed, the purchaser must complete a hunt report form and submit it to the Convention Department, Auction Program. 11. Although IOWA FNAWS has made every effort to ensure the quality of donated hunts and trips, it cannot, and does not, guarantee the satisfaction of either the donor or the purchaser. 12. All firearm (excluding some types of muzzleloaders and bows) purchases made during the convention will be subject to the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act of 1993. After the close of the Convention all firearms purchased at an IOWA FNAWS auction or won in an IOWA FNAWS raffle will be returned to the IOWA FNAWS Headquarters shipped to the purchaser’s nearest federally licensed dealer. It will be necessary for the purchaser to provide the IOWA FNAWS office with an original signed copy of the dealer’s or their own federal firearm license (FFL) and a copy of the paid auction statement before shipment can be made. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. 13. The terms and conditions set forth in the Auction Buyer Policy and the Auction Hunt Policy are hereby incorporated herein by reference. The purchaser’s acceptance of the Buyer’s Agreement, Silent Auction Bid Sheet or Silent Auction Sealed Bid Form signifies and guarantees that the purchaser has read and understands these Auction Program Rules and Regulations, the Auction Buyer Policy and the Auction Hunt Policy, and the purchaser accepts and agrees to completely abide by and be legally bound by all the terms, conditions, rules and regulations for the Auction Program. IOWA FNAWS – Auction Buyer Policy IOWA FNAWS offers donated hunts and items to its members at official IOWA FNAWS events through live auctions, silent auctions and the sale of raffle tickets for designated items. IOWA FNAWS’s policy for hunts or items acquired by members at auction or through a raffle program is as follows: 1. IOWA FNAWS offers hunts, art, jewelry, firearms and other tangible items for bid during live and silent auctions or for raffle. All items are transferred as is. All valuations are provided by donors and all descriptions are based on information provided by third parties and IOWA FNAWS shall in no event be held responsible for their accuracy. IOWA FNAWS does not make implied or expressed warranties or representation of any kind, nor does IOWA FNAWS deem to have made any representation or warranty of the description, genuineness, attribution, provenance or condition of any item. No statement in the IOWA FNAWS publications, catalogs or brochures or in the bill of sale or invoice or elsewhere shall be deemed such a warranty, representation or assumption of liability by IOWA FNAWS. Any written warranties with respect to the items purchased are those solely and expressly supplied by the manufacturer or donor of that item or hunt. Although third parties sometimes provide appraisals with items such as jewelry, IOWA FNAWS does not verify or warrant their accuracy or origin. Appraisals are the result of subjective valuations and estimates of value and quality can vary markedly between competent and reliable appraisers. The provision of an appraisal does not represent a guarantee of value. Furthermore any written or visual presentation done or offered by third parties does not necessarily reflect the opinion or attitude of IOWA FNAWS. 2. The successful bidder (or “purchaser”) of an item (whether through a live auction, silent auction or raffle) will immediately sign a Buyer’s Agreement. The Buyer’s Agreement will be brought to where the purchaser is sitting for signature and the bidder/purchaser will retain one copy at that time. For silent auctions, the Silent Auction Bid Sheet or Silent Auction Sealed Bid Form is considered a Buyer’s Agreement of the purchaser to accept the indicated item and pay the bid amount. Purchaser’s signature on the Buyer's Agreement and the Silent Auction Bid Sheet or Silent Auction Sealed Bid Form demonstrate that the purchaser acknowledges that the agreement is a legal and binding contract to accept the item and pay the accepted bid amount. Any changes, deletions or additions to the description printed on the Buyer’s Agreement, which are agreed to by the purchaser and an authorized representative of the donor, must be noted and signed by both parties in order to be recognized as part of the auction purchase. 3. All auctions are final and there will be no exchanges or refunds on items or hunts. IOWA FNAWS has made every effort to ensure the quality of donated items or hunts. However, IOWA FNAWS does not guarantee the satisfaction of the donor or the purchaser in any case. In reference to hunt donations, it is the purchaser’s responsibility to contact the hunt donor immediately and make all necessary arrangements for hunt dates and the application for any necessary paperwork for licenses and /or permits. Failure to make necessary arrangements may constitute forfeiture. 4. If a purchaser fails to pay for any item prior to the close of the Convention, IOWA FNAWS reserves the right to pursue all legal remedies available to it. IOWA FNAWS may undertake internal actions, which could result in sanctions including, but not limited to, suspension of purchaser’s membership or expulsion from IOWA FNAWS. 5. Although IOWA FNAWS makes reasonable efforts to list all extra and ancillary expenses not included in hunt, travel, service and other items, lists of expenses in auction item descriptions should not be considered exhaustive or definitive and IOWA FNAWS will not be held responsible for their completeness or accuracy. The amounts of additional expenses listed in auction item descriptions are approximations and are subject to change without notice. Bidders should contact relevant donors before bidding for additional and updated information about expenses one can expect to incur in taking a hunt or trip or in using a service or item. 6. All tangible items are subject to local sales tax. 7. All of the terms and conditions set forth in the Auction Hunt Policy and the Auction Program Rules & Regulations are applicable to members purchasing items at auction or through raffle and such terms and conditions are incorporated herein by reference. DISCLAIMERS OF WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY General – Any hunts, trips, goods or services purchased by buyer at auction are provided “AS IS” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. IOWA FNAWS makes no warranties about any Donor’s accuracy, competency or reliability, or of the buyer’s satisfaction with his/her purchase. IOWA FNAWS’s acceptance of donor’s gift or donation does not imply endorsement of the donor or the donated hunt, trip, goods or services. In no event shall IOWA FNAWS, its directors, officers, agents, employees, or representatives be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages however caused and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or tort (including negligence or otherwise) arising in any way or form out of the Buyer’s purchase of trips, hunts, goods, services or anything else purchased by Buyer at auction. Hunts – Although IOWA FNAWS has used its reasonable efforts to ensure the quality of donated hunts and trips, it has no control over the operation of the donor and cannot and does not guarantee that the hunt or trip will be to the Buyer’s satisfaction. The Buyer understands and agrees that it is his/her responsibility to make all arrangements for hunt or trip dates, including travel and completion and filing of all necessary documents, including applications for licenses and permits. IOWA FNAWS cannot guarantee or warrant that a trophy animal or any animal will be taken during a hunt. Some hunts are subject to VAT and GST liabilities, which sometimes are due and payable before the hunt can be taken. Buyer understands and agrees that IOWA FNAWS is not responsible for these fees and that it is Buyer’s responsibility to pay these fees unless other arrangements are made with donor. Goods - All goods covered by this invoice have been donated to or obtained by IOWA FNAWS from third parties. The Buyer acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by IOWA FNAWS and that Buyer is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bows, bullets, or other sporting and/or hunting equipment, to secure a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. The goods covered by this invoice are sold AS IS. Any written warranties relating to the goods are SOLELY those of the manufacturer or provider. Services - All services covered by this invoice have been donated to or obtained by IOWA FNAWS from third parties, and are to be furnished by such third parties. No such services are to be or will be performed by IOWA FNAWS. IOWA FNAWS has no control over the operation of the donor and cannot and does not guarantee the delivery or quality of any such services and it is not liable for any loss or damage arising from or relating to the provision or non-provision of such services. The high bidder will have 5 full days of 1x1 hunting the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness area near Salmon/Carmen, Idaho. Outfitter Dave Melton has been guiding for 32 years and knows the area extremely well. Hunt is conducted typically during the late afternoon into the evening, on horseback where you and your guide will set up over strategically placed baited areas. Baited areas are over burnt forest where you will be able to glass bears coming in from a distance. Hunt can be done either in the Spring (Mid-May to early June) or Fall (Last of August to early September). This is a 2-bear limit area. Success is near 100% with 100% opportunity. There will be a maximum of 4 hunters in camp which is a spacious wall tent, with all meals provided. As a bonus, and if the opportunity exists, hunter can harvest a wolf or mountain lion at no additional fee! For the fourth year in a row, Travis Jenson and Utah WSF has again awarded this fantastic permit for our 2025 auction. If you are looking for a California Bighorn, this is it! 2025 Box Elder/Newfoundland Mountain (Early Season) California Rocky Mountain Bighorn sheep permit. Season dates are approximately October 4-October 24, 2025. This permit is being provided by the Utah DWR and Utah WSF in partnership with Iowa FNAWS. Iowa FNAWS has developed an outstanding relationship with LeLois Lutich and Scott Roosevelt of the JM Lutich Ranch. Scott and LeLois are offering a 4-day javalina hunt for 4 hunters, on their beautiful ranch where the desert bighorns were first reintroduced in Texas in the early 1980’s. The JM Lutich Ranch has made wildlife their priority and has concentrated their efforts around the wildlife. In this regard they would like to manage their javalina population by offering this hunt. The high bidders will stay at well-appointed rooms at the Ranch lodge and meals and evening shenanigans are conducted at their cookhouse where you will see a nice collection of pictures of past hunts, and taste some of the best home-cooked meals around. The ranch has also been home to a growing number of elk, which started appearing some 20+ years ago. Should the opportunity arise, Scott and LeLois have offered the hunters the ability to harvest an elk as a bonus. Upon its harvest, the hunter would make a donation check payable to Iowa FNAWS at the following rates: $1000/cow, $1500/spike and $4,000/bull. This rifle or archery mule deer will be based out of Chad’s lodge in Alberta. This is a one-on-one hunt as is all inclusive once you reach Chad’s lodge, including food and field transportation. For the last several years, several of our members traveled to West Palm Beach, Florida and had a blast hunting iguanas with high-powered pellet rifles, hunting alligators and fishing. This year, Charlie Lowe is offering 3 full days of excitement for two people: One full day of Alligator and hog hunting, one day of iguana hunting and one full day of saltwater fishing. one day will be spent on alligator and hog hunting. The 1895 was the first successful lever action rifle with a box magazine and quickly gained a following among some of the world’s most famous big game hunters. The 1895 is the rifle that Teddy Roosevelt called his “big medicine”. This was the rifle that brought Winchester into the 20th century. A century after its introduction, U.S. Repeating Arms Company created this Limited-Edition Winchester Model 1895. The 1895, designed by John Moses Browning, was the last in line of historic lever action rifles created by John Browning. Teddy Roosevelt utilized the 1895 chambered in .45-70 for his larger African game and the .30-06 for the plains game and many of the North American game. This nearly 30-year-old commemorative is in pristine condition as is the original box it came in and is chambered in 30/06.

Wyoming governor Mark Gordon, the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission and Dept., the Wyoming Big Game License Coalition, and the Wyoming Wild Sheep Foundation are pleased to provide this 2025 bighorn sheep permit for our auction. The 2025 Wyoming Governor’s Bighorn Sheep License is valid in any open hunt area having more than 10 Type 1 ram licenses issued. The number of licenses issued per hunt area may change from year to year. Seasons and license numbers for fall 2025 will be finalized in April 2025. In 2024, this license would have been valid in six hunt areas: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7. These hunt areas account for approximately 75% of Wyoming’s annual Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep harvest. Board members Greg Schultz and Kyle Nakamoto have developed a great relationship with the South Dakota Fish, Game and Parks and their Terrestrial Section Chief, John Kanta. From Anchorage, hunter will be flown in a 206 to either Tatina or Farewell, depending on weather conditions. From there, you will be flown via supercub to camp. This 10 day, one on one hunt will be based out of a comfortable wall tent with cots. Meals are a combination of fresh as well as dehydrated food. Hunting will be spot and stalk averaging between 2 to 5 miles per day. Success on Grizzlies averaging over 7’ is extremely high. Success rate on caribou is a little less, however the bulls are very good. Everything including airfare from Anchorage is included, except for tags and licenses. Also not included is the hotel stay before and after the hunt. Hunter should allow at least a day before the hunt and after the hunt to allow for any weather delays. This will be the seventh year in a row Iowa FNAWS will participate in Prophet Muskwa's Ungulate Enhancement Program. The proceeds from this hunt will add very-needed funding to this program, which as we all know is very critical for the future of all big game, and especially the Stone Sheep. Prophet Muskwa’s Ungulate Program is expanding beyond their territory and encompasses many of the other units in northern British Columbia. The results of this program is starting to show benefits via a noticeable increase in game in the area. The Stone Sheep is becoming the most valuable of all of the wild sheep due to their very limited numbers and critical habitat which they survive in. As proof of this, a Stone Sheep hunt just sold at the recent Sheep Show in Reno for $140,000. Iowa FNAWS is very fortunate to develop this relationship with the Olmsteads and Prophet Muskwa. Prophet Muskwa is the premier destination for Stone Sheep, which arguably is the most sought-after of the Grand Slam of rams.
